PUBLIC NOTICE FOR AUCTION OF RESIDENTIAL PLOTS SHEIKH MALTOON (PHASE-II), MARDAN
The Urban Area Development Authority (UADA) Mardan invites participation in the open public auction of the following 20 No. residential plots on ownership basis, situated in Sheikh Maltoon (Phase-II), Mardan, in accordance with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Urban Areas Development Authorities Auction Regulations, 2022:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Each bidder shall deposit Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Hundred Thousand only) per plot in the form of Call Deposit/Pay Order/Bank Draft in favour of the Director Urban Area Development Authority Mardan, before participating in the auction. No bidder shall be allowed to participate without depositing the prescribed security. The security of unsuccessful bidders shall be refunded after finalization of the auction.
2. The successful bidder shall deposit 25% of the successful bid amount within seven working days in the prescribed manner. Failure to deposit the amount within the stipulated period shall result in cancellation of the bid and forfeiture of the security deposit in favour of the Authority.
3. After receipt of the 25% amount, the Authority shall issue the acceptance/allotment letter to the successful bidder, requiring payment of the remaining amount and applicable taxes/charges within one month.
4. In case of failure to deposit the remaining amount within the prescribed period, surcharge at the rate of 1% of the whole bid amount per day shall be charged as prescribed under the Regulations.
5. If the successful bidder fails to deposit the remaining amount along with the applicable surcharge within the prescribed 90 days, the bid shall stand cancelled and the amount deposited, including the security deposit, shall be forfeited in favour of the Authority.
6. All applicable taxes, fees, duties, registration charges and other government dues, if any, shall be payable by the successful bidder in accordance with the relevant laws/rules.
7. Possession of the plot shall be delivered only after receipt of the full sale consideration and all applicable dues/taxes.
8. A person bidding on behalf of another person shall produce a duly attested Power of Attorney/Authority Letter before participating in the auction.
9. The successful bidder/allottee shall be bound by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Urban Areas Development Authorities Act, 2020, UADA Auction Regulations, 2022 and all applicable rules, regulations and building bye-laws of the Authority.
10. Interested persons may inspect the plots on any working day. Detailed terms and conditions of the auction may be obtained from the Office of the Housing Officer, UADA Mardan, during working hours on payment of Rs.3,000/- per copy (non-refundable) before the auction.
